22.10.25: how much fees home physios will receive



“What fees do home physios empanelled on your platform receive?”

“A greater part of it, for the first appointment.  100% of it, second appointment onwards.”

“How much it is?”

“We figured out some values. But more interesting were the insights, which we got while doing so.”

“Suppose, there are two physios, who give appointments for rehab at home. If we keep all the conditions same, then the cost which they will bear for providing the service, will be the same for both.”

“Presumably, yes.”

“Now, if one of them also has a private clinic to run, then his or her cost of providing home physio service will be higher.”

“Why? Won’t the clinic physio be spending the same time for travelling and for home sessions, as the home physio? ”

“Because it’s not only the commuting and the “during-session” cost, but also the revenue generation time of the clinic lost while travelling to and from any client’s place, which needs to be essentially recovered.”

“Let me try to get this. You mean that a physio, who has a clinic to run, will be more expensive to hire as a home physiotherapist than a regular home-only physio?”

“Yes, if he or she is accomplishing the appointment by himself or herself.”

“Ok. But what if the physio is doing the home visit outside his or her clinic timings?”

“The revenue generation at any clinic varies throughout the year, while the costs keep rising. Therefore, the buffer revenue chances cannot be hampered by reducing home physio fees, even during clinic’s off hours.”

“Ok. Is it why clinic physios often find themselves at the loss, even when doing home visits in addition to their clinic work?”

“Yes, price appropriateness is a major factor.”

“Ok, so how does your platform facilitate them?”
